Emperor’s Lunch and Tour (Groups of 30 or less.)

$20.00 per person – for ALL eating visitors, which covers the tour AND a drink and boxed lunch from a Caterer. Please see the attached set menu to look at your options; there are NO SUBSTITUTIONS.

You will all be seated in the Dynasty Room, which is in the museum. This can be a nice alternative to a regular tour, because you can take the tour, eat in the Dynasty Room and rest, then return to the galleries you toured and/or see the other galleries not included on your tour.

We need the menu form returned, and full payment made no later than ONE WEEK prior to your tour. You may fax the form to 901-523-8603 or scan and email it to me. I also suggest you keep a list of who orders what, including drinks, because people do tend to forget

Call 901-523-2787 or contact the museum staff for a Reservation Packet with menu options or download the packet.

Direct School Tour

Intended to assist only those schools who have extremely limited funds – This tour is a virtual tour using a PowerPoint presentation and visit to the school classroom/meeting area by our Museum Staff.

There is a cost of $35 to cover staff travel and your tour will focus on one of the following options: Asian OR Judaic.

There will also be printed activities which will be left with the hosting staff at the end of the visit; these will be age appropriate.

*Tours can be tailored to fit individual class needs. When scheduling a tour, please mention your students’ background on Chinese or Judaic art, history, or language. To schedule a tour, please contact the museum at 901-523-ARTS or email inquiries to: [email protected].

Please Note: The museum is located at 119 S. Main, the corner of Main and Gayoso Avenue. If you park in the Tower Parking Garage at 110 Peabody Place Street, the entrance is located between 2nd Street and Main Street beside The Flying Saucer and Silly Goose. The garage charges per vehicle, a set fee. Sorry for this inconvenience!

If you come by bus, you will need to make your own arrangements. Often the Orpheum Theater allows buses to park on their lot. You will need to contact them directly. There is also a lot off Gayoso Avenue and Second Street (an outside lot – next to the Tower Parking Garage mentioned above), and sometimes, depending on the size of the bus, this lot is a viable option for visitors.
